Muoto2 is a company founded in spring 2010 by two designers, Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kenta. Muoto2 has had its own production since the beginning of its operations. The idea behind the name Muoto2 is design in space, and the idea was also to highlight the number of founders.

In addition to Kirsi and Mikko, two carpenters work at the Muoto2 factory. It is important for Muoto2 to use Finnish materials and expertise. Muoto2 emphasizes the importance of domestic materials and design traditions in its production, and its products have been awarded the Key Flag of the Finnish Work Association and the Design from Finland label.
